BELL BOTTOM CLIP
Face, neck area, wide belly band, feet and base of tail are shaved closely.  Top knot and tail are left fluffy and scissored into shape.  The legs are left long and fluffy and are scissored to flair out at the bottom like a bell.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

BOLERO CLIP
Face, neck area, belly band, seperation between poms on legs, feet, and base of tail are all shaved closely.  The rest of the hair is left fluffy and scissored into shape.  Poms on legs are started just above the wrist and hock joints and end just above the feet. A narrow band of 1/2-1 inch is shaved closely between the pom and the rest of the leg hair.  The poms are scissored round.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

CHICAGO DUTCH CLIP
Face, neck area, belly band, feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  The belly band is shaped into a V ending in a narrow line shaved closely along the spine between the hips.  The rest of the hair is left fluffy and scissored into shape.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

CONTINENTAL CLIP
WITH HIP ROSETTES
Also one of the harder cuts to preform.  Face, front legs between poms and elbow, hind quarter to the pom area and with the exception of the hip rosettes, feet, and base of tail are all shaved very closely.  The pack area is left very, very long and scissored into shape.  The top knot is left very long and pulled into a ponytail.  The tail is left long and scissored into a round ball.  Poms on the legs are started just above the wrist and hock joints and end just above the feet.  They are also scissored round.  The hip rosettes are placed directly over the hip joint.  They are only 1/2 - 1 inch apart (depending upon the variety of poodle).  These are also scissored round.  The pack ends 1/2 - 1 inch behind the last rib.  There is only 1/2 inch between the end of the pack and the beginning of the hip rosettes.  This is an AKC/UKC approved conformation show clip.  This cut requires a lot of time and daily grooming.

CONTINENTAL CLIP
NO HIP ROSSETTES
The only difference between this clip and the other continental clip is that there are no hip rosettes on this clip.  AKC/UKC state that the hip rosettes in this clip are optional.

CRISS-CROSS DUTCH CLIP
Face, neck area, narrow belly band, feet and base of tail are shaved closely.  As are the shaved lines between the withers along the soine and between the hips along the spine.  These lines are also very narrow. The ends of these lines are left straight.  The Top knot is shaped into a point at the base of the neck.  The rest of the hair is left fluffy and scissored into shape.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

I am happy to have you sign my guestbook, but if you are doing it just to be rude, please don't bother. It just wastes my time and yours. As Thumper says "If you can't say ‘muffin nice, don't say ’nuffin at all!” Thank you. DO NOT SOLICIT ON MY GUESTBOOK PAGE!
