SPORTING CLIP
Face, feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  The body is left fluffy and scissored into shape.  Length of hair depends upon preference although it is to be longer rather than shorter.  This clip is AKC approved for agility and obedience events.  UKC allows this clip in the conformation ring.

sweetheartclip.jpg

SWEET HEART CLIP
Face, neck area, belly band, feet, and base of tail are all shaved closely.  You will notice that each area is shaped into a point like the base of a heart.  Hence the name.  The rest of the hair is left fluffy.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

swirlclip.jpg

SWIRL CLIP

Face, feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  A "Y" shape is shaved closely between the pack and the hips along the spine with the arms of the Y ending down the sides and curving into a swirl that end in a point at the start of the flanks.  Swirl may go either direction.  Body hair is left fluffy.  Length of hair depends upon preference.  This clip is much like the Y clip.

teddybearclip.jpg

TEDDY BEAR CLIP
In this clip the hair is left fluffy all over.  The face is NOT shaved but the facial hair is scissored away from the eyes and the rest is rounded.  The feet may or man not be shaved in this cut as is the same with the base of the tail.  The body hair is all rounded to give the poodle more of a bichon look to them.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

tclip.jpg

T CLIP

Face, Feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  Body is scissored into shape.  Top knot is left longer but is not pulled into a pony tail.  Length of body hair depends upon preference.

townandcountryclip.jpg

TOWN AND COUNTRY CLIP
Face, neck area, wide belly band, feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  Also there are narrow lines shaved closely between the whithers along the spine into the belly band and also between the hips along the spine into the belly band.  The rest of the hair is left fluffy and scissored into shape and the edges of the lines are curved.  Length of body hair depends upon preference.

yclip.jpg

Y CLIP

Face, feet, and base of tail are shaved closely.  There is a "Y" shape shaved closely into the coat between the pack and the hips along the spine area and spreading out into the arms of the Y.  The arms of the Y end in a point where the flank starts.  The rest of the body is left fluffy.  Length of hair depends upon preference.

I am happy to have you sign my guestbook, but if you are doing it just to be rude, please don't bother. It just wastes my time and yours. As Thumper says "If you can't say ‘muffin nice, don't say ’nuffin at all!” Thank you. DO NOT SOLICIT ON MY GUESTBOOK PAGE!
